Advertise

USMTV is currently entertaining commercial advertising sponsorship proposals.  We are taking a different approach to advertising.  We want sponsors that have positively impacted our U.S. Military and their efforts.  Many sponsors of military events such as air shows, marathons, military associations, base concerts and military magazines, are of interest to us.  Specifically, Defense Contractors will want to participate because of the advantages USMTV can offer their corporation.  We have information for you below.

We would be interested in sending you a rate card for either our on-air advertising or web site advertising.   However, we need to know something about your company, and your specific interest in our demographics. Our primary audience is the 18-24 year old age group, with the 25-35 year old age group to follow. We will be offering national commercial "packages" as opposed to individual :30 second spots.

All commercials must be geared specifically towards the military.  USMTV will consider local businesses who support military personnel and bases in their area. We will not, however, allow advertising sponsorship from military town predators such as Pay-Day loan businesses, used car dealers, non-nationally franchised jewelry or electronic stores.

Defense Contractors

Advantages

In the past decade, participation by defense contractors and sub-contractors in television commercial sponsorship has greatly increased.  Whether they are advertising their latest civilian or military product, or showing a presence by thanking the U.S. Armed Forces for their service to our country, the move has been positive.  Often, survival of a corporate entity in the defense industry is dependent upon contract awards from the Defense Department.  Others have shifted their primary focus to civilian applications.  The lobbying required to obtain the nod for a contract requires getting the information in front of the political decision makers.  And they sometimes make decisions based on what the voters want.  When a company is presented in a positive light many times a day, several days a week, 12 months of the year, the impact on the American public’s perception of that company is greatly altered.  Decision makers are also more inclined to make the right decision to purchase products for military personnel in harms way, from a company who is dedicated to getting it right.  A positive presence in the media is essential.

In years past, the American public’s perception of the defense industry was one of overcharging for products manufactured for the military and defense department.  Few media outlets were quick to offer the other side of the story, which would have conveyed contract requirements that directly impacted costs.

Opportunities

From the time of USMTV’s conception in the early 1990s, it was clear to us that the defense industry would enjoy advertising sponsorship opportunities by our network, which no other network could offer.  With slated programs such as “Made for Military, You Use It!,” “Success by design,” “21st Century Weapons,” and of course our darling “The Original Adventures of Tomcat and Friends on Land, Sea & Air,” defense contractors and sub-contractors have the opportunity to remain in the public’s eye 24 hours a day.  Whether imbedded in a program or showcased in your own commercials, we believe your long-term commitment to sponsorship with USMTV will prove successful.  Additionally, USMTV can provide a positive impact with crisis communication, by breaking your side of the story before other media outlets distort the situation.

Impact

A constant presence in the eye of the decision makers and American public will allow your company to become a household name… a part of the family.  And if you have kids or just know one, you are fully aware that cartoons like Power RangersÓ and The Teenage Mutant Ninja TurtlesÓ become such a big part of a child’s life, that he or she knows every single name of a weapon their character uses, how it works and what it does to the enemy.  Our cartoon, which starts at the 1990 timeline, will bring an understanding of the world of defense equipment and essentials needed to be a real hero and fight the bad guys.  Though centered around the Tomcat and his family, his involvement with all other aircraft in the fleet and other branches of the service will encompass any defense contractor who manufactures a military aircraft, it’s weapon’s, guidance systems, ground equipment which work with aircraft, etc.  A kid can’t really grow up and become a Power Ranger or a Ninja Turtle.  But with good grades, a life without drugs and a good education, he or she can become a real hero in the United States Military… using the equipment and aircraft of their favorite cartoon hero.  Your participation in advertising sponsorship with USMTV can make that dream a reality.  Join our family today.
